There is no other component that screams off road like a big winch on the front of a truck. It makes any truck look invincible, and in fact having that insurance policy gives you more possibilities all around. Being able to self-extract is wonderful, but winches can be used in a lot of different ways. I have a winch on my big Ford, and fortunately have only had to use it in service of others.
